4th Anniversary

Four years ago on June 25Th we got married. Yesterday we had a great day celebrating it with a yummy breakfast in the morning, eating out at Claim Jumper for dinner and a night at the theater with Indiana Jones. It was fun to talk with Eric again about all we remembered about our wedding day and the feelings we felt that day. It has been a great 4 years with lots more to come. I have the best husband in the world!! Lucky me!

hang on

While I was putting something away in Hunter's room, this is how I found him. Just about to fall off his bed. And yes, just a diaper on, it has been so hot here, he doesn't want to wear his clothes. He tells me " mommy to hot" when I'm trying to dress him.

San Diego Fair

We had a great time down at the fair. The best part of course was the yummy food. We shared the huge zuccini sticks, the giant western dog and of course the ice cream bar dipped in nuts. The weather was perfect, the marine layer hung right above us so it kept it a lot cooler, around 75 degrees.
Grandma and Hunter on the foot massagers

We had front row seats at the pig races. Hunter keep saying to me all day long "mommy more pigs" Which he was saying he wanted to see more of the pig races.

Cute face

Same beach just a different day, but this time we were with Grandma and Grandpa Francis. It was cloudy because of the marine layer so we only stayed for about an hour and then headed back home to go swimming in the pool. Which for Hunter turned out to be a blast he was jumping in off the edge(to me of course) and kicking and paddling his little arms and legs so well. I know he will sleep great tonight he had himself a good workout!!

Photoshoot with Hunter and Jack

Eric's Aunt Sandi is creating/making a line of Childrens Costumes. Hunter and Jack were her first models for the photoshoot to put on her website. Well Hunter didn't do very well and was cranky the whole time so they only got these two shots of him. Jack on the other hand did awesome. He even did several other costumes. Hunter needs to learn how to be in front of the camera from his cousin Jack.

beach day

Hunter and I headed down to the beach around 10:30. It looked like a clear sky day from our view from our house. To our good luck it was clear and warm. We laid out our towel and built sand castles, had some packed lunch. It was perfect. Hunter didn't want to get in his bathing suit so I just let him cruise with his t-shirt and diaper. There's nothing better then a day like this,,,so much fun.

Cousin.."baby Elliott"

"I hod baby elliott...mommy...peas"

Hunter loves his cousin Elliott. Every time we see him Hunter insists on holding him. I think Elliott likes it to because he can grab anything on Hunter that he can get to. Elliott is now 8 months old. So super cute.

Big boy bed

(You can see his empty bed in the background where I had left him)

While we were in Europe my mom and dad changed Hunter's crib in to a day bed. He loves that he can now get out on his own. He loves to read his books in there but we are still working on him staying the whole night in his bed. If he wakes up in the middle of the night he thinks he needs to get out and come to our bed. So it's a work in progress.

The picture is of one day I put him down for a nap and went to do the dishes in the kitchen. When I finished I walked around the corner to find Hunter fast asleep on the living room floor. He didn't call for me or even look for me he just moved from his bed to the floor...maybe he slept walked : ). It was funny to find him there, it actually startled me.

European Vacation

Slovenija...the most beautiful country in the world. With it's grand mountains and quint small villages tucked in the valleys below. The color of green has never been so beautiful to my eyes as it was in Slovenia. We visited from the north of the country to the south and the whole time we were in owe at it's beauty. I told Eric that I could live there, if I could speak the language, but I said for sure when we get rich that Slovenia will be the place of our summer home. : )
Then there's the people, oh how they are so loving. Everyone welcomed us with hugs and kisses, drinks and sweets. They wanted us to stay with them as long as we could. One guy(who we woke up from his sleeping time because he works the night shift) said 'you are my friends, I'll do anything for my friends" even give up his sleep.
We also did tour through cities in Italy and London, England.
Unfortunately pictures do not give the feeling you feel when you're there, but it's better then nothing.
