Disneyland

Our day started early, up at 6 am and on the road by 7:30 to go to Eric's school to buy the discount student tickets for Disneyland. We missed all the traffic going up the 5 to Disneyland. We got there at 9:30. Eric and I we both pretty gitty about being there, you feel like a kid again. After a few rides we headed over to the Casey Jr train ride in Fantasy land. We waited about 5 minutes and it was our turn to ride, we got in the monkey cage part of the train and they locked us in and we left the station, when all of the sudden Hunter begins to projectile vomit all over himself, Eric's shoes, shorts and of course the ride. Like I said early we were locked in and the ride had started. So here was Eric and Hunter covered in vomit through out the whole ride. All our wipes were back on the stroller parked near the ride. Poor little Hunter was crying the whole time and all we could say was "I'm so sorry Hunter it will be finished soon!" So we had an outfit change and clean up for Hunter and Eric spent time in the bathroom cleaning himself off too. We decided to take it easy no more rides for awhile so we headed over to Toontown. Hunter wanted to walk around the little houses and touch all the buttons. He was having fun and kind of acting like himself again. Well as we were sitting near the water fountain, sure enough, barf #2 came, luckily I was able to hold him up and he just barfed on the side walk. We again went and told one of the workers he throw up and within 2 minutes someone was there to clean it up. Well need less to say 5 barfs later and each time Disneyland cleaned it up, Eric said I'm glad we are here because if we were at home we would have to clean it up ourselves and here all we do is tell someone and within a few minutes someone is there to clean it up. Wouldn't that be the worst job. (Yeah, I work at Disneyland and all I do is clean up peoples barf!) Well we did have a great time even with a sick baby. We were there with my Brother Eric's family and it was awesome to be with them. We would trade off watching the 2 babies as the others went on rides. We were there from 9:30 am to 10pm. Hunter was sure a trooper through it all. He tried to be happy and himself because he knew he was in a fun place. Here are a few pictures of our day.

The neatest thing about the day was I ran into my Best Friend from high school, Audrey Boulton. It was wonderful to see her and finally meet her little boy Avery. She looked so good and her little boy is super cute! She was there with her whole family on a vacation. Oh, how I wish I lived closer to her. I would spend everyday with her if we did. Love you Audrey!!

Brandon was selected to be in the Jedi training camp. He was so excited and did great. He fought and beat Darth Maul in the battle he had with him.

Our Little Climber

Hunter has learned to climb. He has no fear! We first noticed he could do this when we were in watching TV and we saw Hunter's bedroom light turn off and on. When we both walked into the room there was sitting on the changing table smiling at us. We took him down and asked him to do it again...this was the result.

Don't worry about your broken speakers...there isn't sound on the video anyways.

Help me Mommy

I hear "Help, help, help Mommy!" I run to Hunter's room and this is where I find him. Behind the cedar chest (temporarily in his room) He had to pulled out and down all the baskets and toys to get behind there. He had thrown a ball and it went back behind the chest. So he was bound and determined to get to it. Well once he got there his little short arms couldn't reach it. So he shouted for my help.

Ashes

.
Ashes are falling down. Hunter wanted to go outside, so I put his shoes on and soon realized it was hard to breath and that what he was sweeping was ashes so I took a few pictures and went back inside

Day 2

Here we are the next day and like I said yesterday I don't think we will have blue skies for awhile. The Sun is as red as blood. It's scary here. They say the fires are 0% contained so we are getting nervous. Eric wants me to pack a togo bag.

Fires

We were watching TV last night and they kept having breaking news of wildfires and evacuations of cities all around us. Well sure enough we woke up this morning and turned on the news and it is like a war zone here. All the schools are closed down even Eric's school. There is a fire burning in the hills next to his school. Freeway's are closed and they are saying on the news to close down businesses. There are 8 fires burning right now. Our good friends in San Marcos, said half the ward has been evacuated and are down at the church. So here are some pictures I took of the smoke moving in closer and closer to our house. So I think it's the last blue sky we we'll see for a while.

Fun day

We went to BAtes nut farm again with a friend of mine from church and her kids. Hunter had a great time calling to the animals and feeding them seeds from his hand.(He was very brave) It was 91 degrees out there so needless to say we didn't stay that long because we all got to hot, and we weren't prepared for hot weather.

Cool Dude

Hunter Loves to wear our sunglasses. We say he is a "cool dude" when he has them on. His other favorite thing to do is drive the car. I was lucky I got this shot, the glasses stayed on and he was looking at me. Cutie pie!!

My Surprise

My amazing Husband surprised me with our new bed set when I got home from Utah. The picture is the dresser with the mirror and in the mirror you can see the headboard of the bed. It's so beautiful, I love it.

Bates Nut Farm

Hunter was running from one pile of pumpkins to the next sitting on a pumpkin to pose for the shot. He was in pumpkin heaven. He kept trying to pick one up but it was just a little to heavy for our strong little guy. We love having this as our family tradition. It will be fun to see how big they get each year compared to a pumpkin. This year we only bought 2 pumpkin an orange one and a white one. Eric decided he was ok with not getting a "BIG MAC" pumpkin one which weighs 75 lbs+. We didn't have the room to bring it home in the trunk because we now have a big strooler in there instead. Halloween is so much fun!!

It's been a while

Hunter and I went to Utah for 2 weeks and had a great time, we always do. We were excited to come home to see Eric. We sure missed him. We came home to an awesome surprise. Eric had bought our dream bed set for our room. We have had our mattress up on cinder blocks for 3 1/2 years, so he splurged to surprise me. I love it, I just sit in my room and smell the smell of new furniture and I'm in awe that it's mine.

Hunter mastering the use of the fork!

Grandma was enjoying the sun on our patio and had the bucket of water next to her to cool down with splashing it on herself. Well Hunter walked on out and sat right in it. He loves the water, no matter what size the pool is.

Hunter loves to copy whatever Grandpa is doing, even if it is reading the pool warning signs??

Eric and I went out for our 4 years together from our first date. It was October 11th 2003. We went to the Haunted Trails in Balboa park just like we did on our first date. It was super fun to get scared and hold each other as we ran from the man with the chainsaw. Yes I was screaming like a little girl and so was Eric. We had a great night. Thanks to Mom and Dad for watching Hunter so we could go. We have been so blessed in our 4 years, with so many more to come. Yee Haw!!
